Parish Council 50/50 Club
The Parish Council spends approximately £12k per year to manage and maintain our lovely village. A great proportion of this comes from a portion of the council tax payments you make. In a drive to keep these payments as low as possible, the Parish Council runs a number of fund raising initiatives. One of them is the Parish Council 50/50 club
This is your chance to win every 3 months in a prize draw.
The Parish Council holds a draw every 3 months. The cost is £13 per quarter, per entry (equating to £1 per week), with draws four times a year at the end of March, June, September & December. The draw is open to the residents of the village and friends or family from outside the village who are over the age of 16. You can have multiple participants from each household, indeed you can request multiple entries in the same name.
Provided we can attract 100 entries, we will have six prizes each draw with the first prize of £250 reducing down to £150, £100, £75, £50 and £25. This equates to paying back 50% of the funds received. Each draw will take place at a village bar night in the Village Hall. Until we can get 100 participants the prizes will be reduced so that every draw we will still give prizes 50% of the money taken in.
Thank you if you participate and GOOD LUCK.
