Welcome to the Alburgh village website. The website aims to provide a source of information about the community for residents, visitors and anyone who’s interested in this lovely part of England.
Alburgh is located in the Waveney valley in South Norfolk, between the towns of Bungay and Harleston
Alburgh has a population of 410 people in 172 households and is kept running smoothly by the Parish Council who meet on the 1st Thursday of the month. There’s a well equipped village hall, historic church, a nursery and primary school and playing field with play equipment for the younger members of the village.
In 2023 we shared a questionnaire around the village, thank you to all who responded. The full report of the findings can be seen here.
The feedback we received helped us identify key areas to focus on for the benefit of Alburgh residents. To continue improving and to assess our progress so far, we kindly ask you to take a few minutes to complete a follow-up questionnaire. Your feedback and support are invaluable as we work together to make our village an even better place to live.
If you have any comments about the site or its contents together with any suggestions for improvement or new content please use the “Contact Us” menu.
