Welcome to the Alburgh village website. The website aims to provide a source of information about the community for residents, visitors and anyone who’s interested in this lovely part of England.
Alburgh is located in the Waveney valley in South Norfolk, between the towns of Bungay and Harleston, you can find us on a map here. Alburgh has a population of 410 people in 172 households and is kept running smoothly by the Parish Council who meet on the 1st Thursday of the month. There’s a village hall, historic church, school and playing field with play equipment for the younger members of the village.
