There are many footpaths around Alburgh and it’s easy to put together circular routes. The quiet roads can also be used to link footpaths as, in general, they have very little traffic. However, the paths can become a little over grown during the summer months as they are no longer maintained by the County Council. Many locals take a pair of clippers with them and clear paths they regularly walk, little and often is the motto here!
If you find an impassable footpath then please report it.
There’s also a useful interactive map that also allows you to click on the footpath and report a problem. This map also provides a unique footpath reference number which is much easier than trying to describe which footpath you mean.
To plan a walk you should buy a local OS map (Explorer 230) but you can use the OS Maps online for free thanks to bing maps, be patient it’s rather slow to load.
There’s a definitive list of footpaths available here together with a downloadable map.
Finally there is a Parish walks maps here https://www.visitwaveneyvalley.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Denton.pdf
